ZwickRoell LP is looking for an Operations Supervisor to lead our Services Operations team through the day-to-day operations from initial request for quote, through on-site work, to final billing and filing of paperwork. This role will be responsible for the scheduling, training, logistics, and financial tracking of the Services Business. The Operations Supervisor will lead a team of Service Operations Specialists and perform all the supervisory functions to develop and retain staff members. The Operations Supervisor will also establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders from Sales, Service, Supply and Manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 to 7 years of experience supervising an administration team and proven leadership capabilities to help grow the services business.

Ihre Aufgaben


  • Supervise the team of Service Operations Specialists to deliver world-class service to customers: training, spare parts sales, service estimates and scheduling.
  • Oversee the Service Operations office to ensure customer satisfaction through customer support and excellent customer communication.
  • Negotiate customer contracts for service and maintenance to drive service revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive revenue growth through technicians by offering proactive services available to customers.
  • Work with Field Service Manager, Technical Support Center Manager to effectively ensure all support services are provided and meet customer expectations such as product technical support, field service, and training solutions.
  • Effectively manage daily service needs through prioritizing, scheduling, and delegating work assignments to ensure completion of service interventions and timely submissions of annual contract quotes.
  • Effectively interface with internal company departments including sales, manufacturing, accounting, human resources, shipping, purchasing, and engineering to address and resolve issues.
  • Maintain Service Parts logistics to and from our suppliers here and abroad.
  • Develop positive relationships with customers to effectively analyze customer requirements and promote company parts/service products to meet those requirements.
  • Track response time and time to close a customer complaint or known issue and measure results and performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement based on customer and team feedback.
  • Optimize processes to streamline costs.
  • Drive prompt issue resolution with support of the technical department when needed.
  • Provide, measure, and report technician feedback from service interventions.
  • Develop and maintain a process for completing comprehensive root cause analysis to eliminate repeat issues.
Ihr Profil
  • Minimum 5 years prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience in administration of B2B sales and service
  • Strong technical knowledge of material testing and/or capital equipment helpful but not required.
  • Must have strong leadership skills and ability to work in a fast paced and customer focused environment.
  • Ability to interface effectively with customers and internal departments.
  • Self-motivated, sense of urgency, personable, customer-focused and well organized.
  • Occasional travel less than 10%.
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in German a plus but not required.
  • To be considered for the position, you must be authorized to work in the United States.
