What is a roboTest C?

The roboTest C is an automated test system for heavy metal plates. This system is used in particular for small series of metal specimens up to 5 kg and takes on the task of positioning these heavy specimens in the specimen grips.
For a tensile test, the roboTest C can typically test 24 or 40 specimens autonomously.

The specimens to be tested are inserted in a magazine. The gripper removes the specimens from the magazine and conveys them to the testing machine. The specimen is gripped in the specimen grips and the tensile test starts fully automatically.

Manual tests can be performed as required by sliding the specimen feeding system out of the way.

Manual cross-section measuring device

High-precision cross-section measurement that is insensitive to temperature influences through the use of differential measuring systems with four high-resolution measuring transducers.

Specimen magazine

The operator fills the specimen magazine directly at the system. Specimens can be added to magazine slots that have not yet been emptied, at any time.

Status indicator

The stack light informs the operator of the status of the robotic testing system via a three-tiered light.

The bar code or 2D code is read during the automated sequence

ID reader

The specimen can be optionally identified via a 2D code or a barcode. Alternatively, the specimen data (identification number, width, thickness, etc.) can be entered on a PC.
