Efficient hardness testing - Code-A-Weld trusts ZwickRoell

Welding is the universally accepted method of permanently joining all metals. The British company Code-A-Weld runs three independently services providing a high standard of professionalism and care, all of which hold their own UKAS accreditation: Welding Procedure & Qualification Testing, Non-Destructive Testing and Mechanical Testing.

For hardness tests on these welds, a fully automatic Vickers hardness tester ZHV30 was recently acquired at ZwickRoell. In the past, the indentations were measured manually, but the health problems piled up. In addition, the time pressure by their customers increased and their own demand for fast but accurate order processing rose.

Adam Gould, Senior welding surveyor, says: “As soon as we contacted ZwickRoell, we knew we had the right partner.”
