During the inspection, vulnerabilities can be uncovered and rectified in advance which could otherwise lead to erroneous test results and thus defective products. The system's general condition, its functions, and most importantly the safety-critical points should be checked regularly. Additionally, the wear and tear of wear parts should be assessed and documented.
The inspection not only maintains the reliability and full functionality of your testing machines, It is also important, since the normative directives DIN EN ISO 7500-1 specify the need for inspection prior to calibration. With a service agreement we track inspection intervals and industry-specific calibration intervals for you.

Alternatively we recommend a preventive oil and filter change every two years to ensure that the hydraulic system is supplied with “fresh” oil. This will minimize wear to all hydraulic components and extend the service life of your testing system.
Constantly increasing demands on the reliability, availability and cost-effectiveness of hydraulic systems call for ever-cleaner hydraulic fluids.
In addition to the size of the particles, the number is also decisive for the wear process of the system. Not every particle is damaging to the system, however, the smaller the number of critical particles the lesser the likelihood of damaging the components. Oil analyses can be performed at regular intervals by our ZwickRoell service technicians during on-site support. Both the quality and the suitability of the hydraulic oil will be verified.
If a determination is made that impurities, contamination or other influences are negatively affecting your hydraulic power pack, ZwickRoell offers proper measures to restore the necessary oil quality.
Hydraulic hose change
The use of aging hydraulic hoses can be dangerous. Hydraulic oil escaping at high pressure or whipping hoses can not only permanently damage your machine, they can also present heightened safety risks for your employees.
