Optical Strain Measurement - 30 Years of Experience

In materials testing, contact extensometers often reach their limits when sensitive specimens and/or complex test arrangements are involved. At our Fürstenfeld location, we already started specializing in the development of video-based measuring systems and the use of laser light in order to measure strain without markings or making contact 30 years ago. Our many years of experience along with proven technologies and patents have created a unique portfolio of non-contact extensometers for use with numerous testing machines. The specific challenges that our customers face motivate us to also design customized strain measurement systems and thereby help us to meet the requirements demanded in materials testing today.

Creep Testing - Over 400 Successfully Installed Systems

ZwickRoell in Fürstenfeld specializes in creep testing, which has enabled a wide selection of standardized testing systems as well as numerous customized and technically advanced special testing solutions to be produced, of which several are patented. Through ZwickRoell’s global service and sales network, over 400 creep testing machines have been installed worldwide.

As the competence center for high-temperature testing, ZwickRoell in Fürstenfeld has the expertise to offer unique, high-temperature testing systems. Due to our close cooperation with trained ZwickRoell employees, we can guarantee the quality of proven ZwickRoell Service worldwide. However, sometimes sophisticated products require special service. Therefore, our Fürstenfeld location offers special services for high temperature testing and creep testing.

Our testing laboratory in Fürstenfeld is equipped with various testing machines for high temperature testing and creep testing that are used for demonstrations as well as for pretesting.
