ZwickRoell China serves the Chinese market through three strategically located entities in Shanghai, Taicang and Guangzhou supported by a primary sales and service partner in Shanghai and a network of additional sales agents. Our Headquarters in China
Three Locations. One Team. Nationwide Support.
The Shanghai location serves both as ZwickRoell's regional headquarters and as a key operational hub for the Chinese market. It brings together key business functions including marketing, sales, service, after-sales support, operations, supply chain management, HR and finance. The location also serves as the center for the Medical Therapy Systems business in China.
Each location contributes a clearly defined area of expertise:
- Shanghai: Regional headquarters and Medical Therapy Systems Center
- Shanghai: Dedicated sales and service organization for China (excludes Guangdong, Guangxi & Hongkong)
- Guangzhou: Dedicated sales and service organization for South China
- Taicang: The Group's only localized manufacturing site in China and an important global sourcing hub

In Shanghai the Xperience Center offers access to a range of testing systems, including:
- Non-Metal Automation Laboratory
Equipped with roboTest N and roboTest L for fully automated testing of plastics, rubber, and carbon fiber tows. - Dynamic Testing Laboratory
Equipped with LTM3, HA100, and advanced hardness testing systems DuraJet, DuraScan, DuraVision, VisionLine for fully automated Brinell, Rockwell, and Vickers hardness measurements - Composites Testing Laboratory
Advanced mechanical testing systems with contact and non-contact strain measurement, environmental chambers, and fixtures for testing from -80°C to +360°C. - Metal Automation Laboratory
Integrates roboTest R, universal testing machines, industrial robots, and AGVs for fully automated metal testing, including automated cross-section and diameter measurement. - Fully Automated Metal Testing Laboratory
Combines roboTest L, universal testing machines, AGVs, and the CMU system for fully automated testing and cross-sectional measurement.
Additional systems for medical and pharmaceutical applications are available in Shanghai, while Guangzhou supports customers with dedicated testing and demonstration capabilities for local markets.
