The ZwickRoell competency centers – ZwickRoell manufacturing subsidiaries with specialized production
At our headquarters in Ulm, Germany, materials testing machines and central components for materials testing are being built. We underpin our high quality standards with extensive in-house production and a guaranteed availability of spare parts for at least 10 years.
Our manufacturing facilities bring together specialized development and production expertise within the ZwickRoell Group – from materials testing machines, accessories and software to sensors, as well as building material, hardness and high-temperature testing.
ZwickRoell locations around the world – locally rooted and globally connected
Wherever our customers are, we're already there. Through four central headquarter locations – Ulm (Europe), Kennesaw (North America), Shanghai (China) and Singapore (Asia Pacific) – we bundle application technology, consulting, service, training, sales and the Xperience Center according to uniform global standards and in direct proximity to our customers. This means that our customers always receive fast support and local contacts on site through our ZwickRoell subsidiaries and long-standing sales and service partners in 56 countries around the world.

At ZwickRoell, generations work side by side and grow together – many employees stay for decades, often spanning multiple family generations. ZwickRoell - our history
From the first materials testing machines of the 1870s, to Jakob Amsler-Laffon's planimeter, to the sheet metal testing machine R1, a common thread runs through our history: the commitment to continually reimagine materials testing.
