testXpert II Education Module is the ideal way to supplement classical teaching methods, such as lectures, seminars, or internships. For students or others interested in materials testing, the ZwickRoell Education Module is an interactive tool for introducing materials testing basics. The testXpert II Education Module is a modern e-learning tool that facilitates autodidactic learning. Based on flash technology, it runs on any Windows platform.

The didactic structure starts by presenting the most important test types in materials testing in the form of synchronized videos. Video sequences that are synchronized with the test data from the materials testing machine (force, travel, etc.) are shown. The position of the crosshairs is synchronized with the video image. While the video plays, important information about what is happening is shown at crucial points in time. This provides students with not only an optical impression of the test, but also an explanation of the process.

The operator has access to the test data by clicking on a link that accesses the testXpert II testing software. Students now have the option of using all testXpert II functions to fully analyze the available test data. You can export all data from testXpert II to an Excel table for at-home practice. Lecturers can even change the data, so that, for example, all students must make the calculations themselves. In principle, all of these powerful testXpert II functions and options are available.

Virtual Testing Machine

The core element of the testXpert II Education Module is our unique Virtual Testing Machine (VTM). Students use it to simulate a real testing machine. The VTM configuration settings allow the user to select from a wide variety of virtual materials. Students can perform tests on their own using the VTM.
Furthermore it is possible to integrate their own materials in the VTM. The school can simulate its own applications and students can examine these materials after installing the Education Module on their own PCs or laptops. The VTM works like a real testing machine. By combining the VTM with the Education Module, students acquire the ability to perform tests on a real ZwickRoell testing machine.
