Fatigue testing machines for all applications - new HA and HB ranges from ZwickRoell

ZwickRoell's HA and HB servo-hydraulic testing machines provide high-performance systems for fatigue tests on a range of materials and components. The machines are available from 50 to 2,500kN, while their testControl II measurement and control electronics enable them to handle demanding testing situations. Standard-compliant testing is made easy by the range of test programs available from ZwickRoell.

The HA range consists of a classical servo-hydraulic testing machine with a single testing actuator mounted in the lower crosshead.  They are particularly suitable for determining material properties under cyclic loading (fatigue test) e.g. fracture mechanics, LCF (Low Cycle Fatigue). Tests can be carried out in accordance with all established standards, including DIN 50100, ASTM E466 (metallic materials) and EN 15630 (concrete-reinforcing steel). HA servo-hydraulic testing machines are available in various versions for test loads from 50 to 500 kN.

Servo-hydraulic testing machines in the HB range have the testing actuator mounted on the upper crosshead, making them highly versatile. With the optional T-slotted platform, flexure and component tests can be performed in addition to standard fatigue tests. Dynamic testing machines in the HB range are available in various versions for test loads from 50 to 2500 kN.

Both ranges are equipped with the powerful testControl II measurement and control electronics. testControl II’s control frequency of 10kHz ensures rapid reaction to events during tests combined with a high measured-value acquisition-rate, while the testXpert II testing software offers a range of different test programs for standard-compliant test performance. Available in addition to the Low Cycle Fatigue test program, the Sequencer and the Fracture Mechanics test programs da/dN and K1C are test programs for J1C (ASTM E1820) and K-R curve as per ASTM E561.
