ZwickRoell celebrates 25 years in Asia Pacific
ZwickRoell Singapore celebrated its 25th anniversary of being a dedicated and passionate headquarters for the Asia Pacific Region, in February 2023. An evening spent in a familiar atmosphere with a character of a typical German mid tier company, sharing stories from the past and outlooks for the future. With honored guests representing international trade & development and economic growth in Singapore, ZwickRoell partners from the Asia Pacific Region and the Board of Management of the ZwickRoell Group.
How it all began
ZwickRoell Singapore (or back then Zwick Asia) was established in 1997 and led personally by Dr. Jan Stefan Roell. “It was an easy and obvious choice to locate the first Asian subsidiary in German Center, which provided us operational flexibility, business advice and networks with other German leaders, sharing their knowledge on driving a business in Asia.” Dr. Jan Stefan Roell, Chairman of the Supervisory board of the ZwickRoell Group.

Since then we were growing not only our network, but also establishing further entities in the Asia Pacific Region with Singapore as the Asian headquarters. The first was India in 1998, followed by Vietnam in 2007, South Korea in 2008, Indonesia in 2015, Taiwan in 2018 and Thailand in 2019. In 2023 ZwickRoell in Asia Pacific consists of 105 employees of 6 Sales and Service entities across the Asia Pacific Region and a strong partner network serving 25 Countries.
