ZwickRoell opens a new unique facility in Asia Pacific in Singapore
Global testing-machine market-leader ZwickRoell has established a unique facility in Singapore, which combines a state-of-the art Testing Laboratory, events, trainings of the ZwickRoell Academy and promotes ZwickRoell products, applications and services.
As headquarter for the Asia Pacific Region, ZwickRoell Singapore is proud to host this first of a kind facility in the ZwickRoell group.
Inauguration Ceremony
The inauguration ceremony took place on Wednesday, 21 August 2019 in the presence of guests across industries such as Academia, Metal, Plastics, Test Services or Aerospace and representatives from public authorities and third parties.
It was our pleasure to welcome our inauguration guests, Dr. Jan Stefan Roell, CEO and Chairman of the Board of the ZwickRoell Group and President of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Ulm, Germany, and Mr. Tim Philippi, Executive Director and Board Member of the Singaporean-German Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Highlights of the Event
The event was highlighting the importance of reliable test results, as they are the foundation not only for the manufacturer of materials testing systems, but also of research work in mechanical engineering. An expert panel discussion underlined different perspectives on Data management and Industry 4.0 and gave a glimpse on how the ZwickRoell Group fits into these trends. Last, but not least a special tour through the impressive laboratory unveiled among others the integration of the latest ZwickRoell developments in the field of assisted testing, roboTest N.
